From September 5 to 11, Sumy State University held the annual event 2021 IEEE 11th International Conference “Nanomaterials: Applications & Properties” (IEEE NAP – 2021), in Odesa.

The conference is organized for the 11th time by the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of SumDU together with partners from the IEEE Magnetics Society, Chicago Chapter (MAG), USA, and Silesian University of Technology, Poland.

Over the past ten years, more than 2,000 participants from 40 countries attended the conference. This year it was held in a hybrid format and gathered about 200 participants offline and about 100 – online. The special features of the conference were a round table for young scientists, a networking event “Women in Science” and a rich socio-cultural program.

Serhiy Lyeonov, the First Vice-Rector of SumDU told the participants of the conference about the achievements of the university, in particular, emphasized the high positions of SumDU in the international rankings.
